Ken, freeze chicken broth (homemade or low sodium)and then give them to him.  He'll get the fluids and a bit of something extra as well.  My English Bulldog rarely drinks water at all.  He just loves ice cubes, up to about 3 trays a day.  They are his treats, he loves to crush them.  Prayers for Norman, and Happy Birthday to him.  Extra belly rubs and sloppy kisses to him.

Happy birthday Norman. Ken I'm sitting here with my dachshund next to me. She was a basket case while I was in the hospital. She'd sit out by the gate waiting for me at night then at the door to the bedroom in the am. My wife would put the phone on speaker and I have to talk to her a while and then she'd go back to her bed. I guess we grow on them too. God's best to you and Norman.

Neat story Benson!

Glad to hear Norm is like the rest of us aging critters...having some good days to keep the fire burning brightly.

Prayers with you to keep your positive attitude and grateful heart for each blessed day with Norman!
