More frustration!
« on: April 04, 2011, 02:22:00 PM »
NOW NO SURGERY FOR A WHILE AND NOT HAPPY.    :knothead:    We did meet the surgeon and got some more tests done this am but nothing else. The surgeon said she would schedule the OR and let my wife know by noon but she hasn't called yet. Bit frustrating plus the surgeon said this would be to debulk the tumor and it couldn't be completely removed so could go through this all over again in the future. So spending more prayer time to get God's best out of this. Sorry to keep bringing this up.   :deadhorse:   I'll have my wife post when I finally do go to surgery

Prayers going up for you, Galen. Sometimes although frustrating it may be, the good Lord has a plan........it just isn't always "visible" to us at the time.

Prayers that it be His Will in motion. We can't forget Free Will and sometimes, people just mess up or have goofy ideas.

I'm sorry for your delay. I know how stoked you were to ferret out this gnarly mess and have it DONE!

I know your faith will keep you strong. Faith doesn't mean we don't get down, frustrated, even angry. Good thing God has big shoulders, and arms big enough to hold us all!

Keeping you in prayer, my friend!

Keep the Son in your eyes!

Surgery didn't happen...  :(

Ole Galen is being a trooper from the small reports I get but the tumor is causing an old back injury to flare from the interior pressure there...

He's still waiting and they hope to do something sooner than later, but no word I've heard.

When I grow up, I want Galen's strength of faith!

Keep the Son in your eyes, brother! WE're pulling for you!

Had a chemical drip yesterday to continue to reduce the calcium in my blood and then met with the surgeon for preop. They are very happy with my blood work and how I look. I lost 15 to 20 lbs of water weight that I had been carrying which had been causing lots of problems. I feel good right now and last night was the first time I slept pain free in a long time Praise God! Meet with the oncologist again tomorrow as well as the anesthesiologist. So everything is a go for surgery on the 20th. God is opening my eyes to His word that is giving me strength and hope that I've not had before. Thanks again for the prayers!
Doc God has lifted me out of so many holes and scummy places that I put myself in and He's never condemned me but has loved me to Himself. So any faith you see is from His mercies to me.
