The Sister is back :)
« on: June 21, 2011, 12:45:00 PM »
For those of you who don't know, my sister was in Nepal for about a year on a fulbright grant. well she is now back in country! she is currently on the Hundley Farm in Eagle Rock, VA. My PawPaw and Grandma Honey are enjoying having her there. She told me she was nervous coming back to the U.S. because after being in Nepal for so long, she says its like coming home after 20 years. However shes not out of the woods yet. My sister, Bethany, is 96% hard of hearing and she has a artificial implant to help her gain back some hearing. it has started to Bulge out of her head and give her head aches. however, when she left Nepal, the Fulbright program removed their insurance on her so she can't go the Doctors. which is crap but thats the brother in me speaking. but she is stateside, safe and sound. Alot of prayers were answered!

Sorry to hear of Bethany's struggles.  To meet her folks, you'd never know this lovely lass has a hearing loss...

The Hundley's have 2 incredible kids: Bethany and Motor Mouth Matt!

You are both precious to us and in the sight of the Lord, Matt.

Thank you for sharing she is home.  I agree that the Fulbright program is being incrediblyl short-sighted in that your sister was exposed to so many 3rd world ailments, to pull insurance before she sees what "fix up" attention she might need, is heinous.

Please tell her the "old man" said "hey!"

Prayers for her implant issues to resolve quickly and without further difficulty.

Prayers for you and your success in your struggles, too, Matt.

Hugs, li'l Bro!

You know what the situation Father and you know the solution.  We pray you would work in the lives to affect Your will.
