MRI Results are in...
« on: July 03, 2011, 11:30:00 PM »
Well just as they always say when things start to go really good some thing will always be there to test you. I got back from the VA Doctor the other day and I learned that my MRI I had on my back isn't so hot. I have 3 bulging disc in my lumbar section of my back some kind of degenerative disease thats decreasing the space in between the disc in my back pinching the nerves and compression fracture on the T11 with another on the T12. I am praying that the Lord will heal the one fracture that hasn't healed yet the other is about 2 years old. I got messed up pretty good in the service and paying for it now. I know the Lord has a plan for all of this but the extra prayers would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
God Bless all your kind hearts
Lester

Amen Matt  I know that Gods love is there other wise it would have been worse this is just a reassurance of what he has in store for me. It's time to settle down and let God lead the way. Besides I am just a passenger on this ride with Christ.

Les,

Not a real doc, just play one on the internet, but have fought back issues all my life.

OK... compression fractures in the spine. there is a process Kypoplasty, where they go in with two tubes, inject air to push up the compressed vertabrae and then pump in some quick setting foam thru the other tube and you walk out that day!

Our local Lancaster Neuroscience does it and Dr. Chris Kager is their specialist in it.

They also do "disc" replacement processes.

There is much hope.  I just had a lamenectomy because arthritis was compressing my spinal chord and caused the ancillary nerves that come off the main "root" to be compressed. They rotor rootered out my L3, and then did bilateral nerve channel clean out on L4, L5 and S1.

not without some post-surgical challenges, but I can tell you I wish I'd had it done years ago while younger!

God gave the Doctors' their talent and the processes to help. Not saying it'd work for you, but VA's vary so see what you can learn. Might be worth it.

In the meantime, as Chip (Hooked) li'l gal said about Garrett's condition, "God is the bestest doctor of all!"

May it be His will to lead you to the right path of healing.

Keep the Son in your eyes!

Thats good to hear Doc the fracture on t11 is just that a compression fracture its old and healed but not correctly the t12 was a break it hasn't healed yet. I am going next week for a nerve blocker shot in the back and then they will see what all they need for the other stuff the degenerative facet disease ( something like that) will progressively get worse according to the doctors but they can keep up with the injections to prolong anything from happening. Thanks for the insight and the hope

If you need a number up here to get in touch with someone specializing it those issue, let me know or google Lanc. Neuro Science and Spine Assoc... Crooked Oak Drive, Lanc., PA.

Epidural shots are just masking the issue... doping up the spinal column. Go for a fix if it fits your situation.

Push! It's your life. Your 220 line they're messin with!
