Rain
« on: September 13, 2011, 10:47:00 AM »
Trying my best to walk in God's Holy Light; but, I'm a work in progress. Point being no need to judge other Christians by me. What I've seen & heard supercedes space & time no kidding. Keeps me straight n narrow.

You good folks know parts of the South are experienceing the largest drought in our history especially Texas. It's way past serious already w/scant waterholes drying up daily. We're in big trouble. Cattle & animals are dying quick. I've seen God's miracles are real. Just ask you keep us in your prayers for some much needed rain. Trivial compared to many but prayer helps. I include you good folks often. b

Buddy,

There are no "trivial" needs. And drought stricken earth and bone dry economies are not trivial.

Given back to back hurricane and torrential rain/flooding back East and NEast, it's hard to imagine anyone needing rain, unless we're reminded our bretheran don't share our geography. Thank you for asking our prayers...

A friend in TX told me on the phone that this is the worst since 1951 for drought and people's wells are drying up!

I will stop and pray for God's replenishment to come to TX in gentle rains that allow his parched earth to drink her share and replenish water tables without monsoon deluges that will merely wash out towns.

Lord in your Mercy...

Father God,
May your Spirit again hover over the face of the waters you created in Texas.  May your breath blow clouds of rain to water your garden, returning life to this dry, parched land.
Amen.

Father we know when you created this old earth it was thru your spoken words. You said let it be and it was. It is no thing for you to send the rains to those who are need them right now. Father you know what we need more then we do ourselves. Father our brother has ask for you to allow the rains to desend from heaven to fill a dry and thirsty land. Please do this for your children as we bow before your asking this in your most Holy name. Father show forth you mighty hand and allow this request to be filled. I love you and stand on your word that you will supply all our needs thru Christ Jesus. Please send the rain to those who need them today.......Amen.......Dusty

Sunday 10:45am. Morning headlines said we missed rain from the tropical storm. Shortly after, skies darkened w/lightning & thunder. The rain as pic below for about an hour now. We'll need a bunch more.

Joined two prayer chains since first post. Coincidence? Got a bunch of them. God Bless you good folks. My prayers to all other requests herein.

As you say, much more needed. I've had calls from parts of TX where there is no green anymore... live oaks live, but no acorns. No grass.  :(

Earth goes in cycles longer than man has recorded history.

He is in charge. Prayers of thanksgiving for whatever rain you're getting and prayers that what more you get, comes in usable quantities, not deluges that run away and was away all that was... we've had enough of that here in the East for one year..wouldn't wish that or drought on anyone!

Thank you Lord... prayers for all things in moderation according to His will!
