Prayers for another neck surgery
« on: October 11, 2011, 11:22:00 PM »
The man who was my bow building mentor is going in for surgery to have 4 disks removed from his neck and have them replace with spacers. The next day he goes in to have a metal brace screwed on. Prayers for God's best.
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Father in your great healing please restore this man to his wanted health. Father thank you for hearing our prayers and thankyou for your faithfulness to stand in the gap for your children. Thank you for BenBow for posting here and for trusting us to lift this thing up. It is in your name we as these things. Amen.......Dusty

Wow, Galen, that is major reconstruction. My friend was told she can't get the replacement discs... no explanation why...but will fuse 3.

They told her yesterday, nothing but tylenol for pain as other stuff will slow fusion by 80%! Whoa!

Prayers for your friend's medical team to be steady and do a good job, and that the 2 back-to-back surgeries don't wear him badly.

Prayers still for healing and strength to endure the rehab proces and be patient!

Prayers that the 2nd surgery went well and he's beginning to rest well.  The surgeon told my friend the pain takes 2-4 days to start to become manageable in her situation. I can't imagine what it will be like with TWO surgies like that!  :(
