Family friend's family
« on: October 17, 2011, 06:32:00 PM »
This Morning a Fellow Trad archer, although he would just call it archery, passed away.  He lost his short fight with brain cancer. we have not been able to shoot archery together since his 1st emergency brain surgery 5 months ago. He had been doing well until about 2 weeks ago, he didn't seem right. the Dr. confirmed our fear and he was placed in Hospice a couple days ago.

Please say a prayer for Fred's 2 children and ones that loved him.

I will launch an arrow in his memory this weekend. I hope I could do it with his Bear Bow. He was a good man who loved the outdoors be it tying flies, catching trout or bow hunting the Adirondacks. He will be missed.
Relax,

You'll live longer!

Amen
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Prayers of peace beyond understanding for all that loved Fred.

May your sorrow be replaced soon with all the good memories.
