Update Met with the Oncologist yesterday
« on: March 09, 2012, 09:37:00 AM »
We met with Dr Shahene yesterday and he feels that the tumor is stable and we will do another ct scan next month to see if it is remaining stable. So it's looking better. I know there is no humanly available way of getting rid of this completely but I know that God is able.
Thanks again for your prayers.

We met with Dr Morris yesterday to get her opinion on surgery options. She said due to the location of the tumors and the fact that most of the fatty tissue is some form of the lyposarcoma she wouldn't be able to get it all. So her recommendation is to not do surgery unless the stuff starts growing and causing problems. She says I'm a good candidate for surgery so she's not concerned about my ability to handle it, she just didn't think it was the best option at this time as the tumor appears stable. So we meet with the oncologist on the 19th and unless he really believes I need to do the chemo test Maxine and I believe that the best option for us at this time is to wait and watch. If Dr Shahene agrees with that we will work out a schedule of tests to keep an eye on it.
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

I'm so happy to know that your medico's are at least pleased enough to take a "wait and see" attitude... long trail you've come with God's help since before surgery!

Prayers continue for that rascal tumor to stay contained and you stay upright and chasin sheep for a good long time to come!

Thank you, Lord!

Greetings, brother.

Contact me if you need some help. My wife and I have both been through cancer. Perhaps as a result I can offer your answered prayer about permanent healing. I've given the same help to brothers and sisters with aggressive stage III/stage IV tumors who have experienced total remission. Their cancers today are undetectable and they remain medical mysteries to their doctors. There are hundreds of similar cases.

Drop me a line if you need to talk.

Blessings,

Jack

Glad to hear that they feel it is stable, and hope the test next time proves it.  Best of luck, and allow God to do his healing.
