Prayers for my niece please
« on: May 10, 2012, 12:27:00 PM »
My niece's 2 year old boy accidentally drowned in a washing machine about a month ago and she is still having a very hard time. She would like to remind everyone to grab hold of the ones you love and treat them today like you wont see them tomorrow. Thanks Trad Gang

Prayers for the Peace that Passes All Understanding to settle on her and give her comfort to move on.  There has to be such awful guilt, even with the reality that one cannot constantly observe an active and inquisitive 2 yr old!

That is a tragic story right there and I will keep her in prayers along with the rest of the family...

Lord, in your mercy...

Prayers for your niece. Only time, God's grace and understanding we are all on the planet for a very short time will soften the sorrow.

I'll pray for the easing of pain, remorse and loss.

Can't even imagine nor put into words a prayer. God's best

Longbow, I cannot comprehend your pain. I worked for a great man one time who lost two sons in a high school car accident. Went I worked with him again I asked him how he found the strength to get up in the morning. His answer to me was "My faith became very valuable to me when it happened. I know that one day I will see my boys again." You and your niece will hug that young man again...

Likely would be a mistake to give us the credit...to Him belongs all the credit for things good.

We are but the ones to share in the pain and to petition our Lord to bring peace where it's needed and sought by those who live by faith.

Your neice's family, by His stripes and their faith, are finding peace.

Keep the Son in your eyes, brother...and theirs!

Tracy,
Doc Noc couldn't of said it better! We are just prayer warriors and God does all the healing through a difficult time when we are in a deep valley but always remember their is a Beutiful Son in the sky when you get to the top of that hill and he's also there with you and your family when you are in that dark valley...So happy to hear your Niece has found some comfort and we will continue to pray for healing...God Bless,
