For my wife
« on: May 12, 2012, 12:49:00 PM »
Hay to all, compared to most of the requests for support this one is very small. For the past 4 or 5 years the wife has been the main money maker in the house.

This past Tuesday I got a phone call for a new job. Had to have an answer by noon that day,( call came in at 11:25 a.m.)

Called wife to see what she thought, she says yes I call back say Yes. Give notice at current job, a job of 10 years.Have a very supportive boss and uppermanagment.

This is now Sat.morn. and it just sunk in that for her  the new job is 1400 miles away, we have worked apart in the past but it has been along time.

Please pray for the wife and myself to be able to deal with the seperation forced by the economy.

This has happened very fast and going to North Dacoda back to the oil fields has made the last two days hard on her and the rest of the family.

Thanks for letting me ramble on and thankyopu for the support.

Later....Buzz

Whew...well, work is where you find it and when you're young enough to handle the labor side, as they say hereabouts, "Make hay while the sunshines".

That boom up there won't last forever.

Prayers for you both to grow closer and stronger being farther apart! Keep communication lines open big time!

Prayers up! Keep the Son in your eyes!
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Nosight,
That is a good news, bad news story. Well think of it this way Good News - you will be workin and bringing in the the bread and a man needs that... Good News - you and you lady will miss each other... some guys can't say that. Sound like you two are tight that will carry you through.

Charlie,

Even a blind pig finds a nut in the woods now and again...

I doubt there is any credit due to me for anything shared or typed... just proof the Lord uses even the most rusty bucket to carry His thoughts.

Well having worked in the "Oilfield" some soon to be 33 years Doc hit it right. You are either making good money or no money. With this current President in place we have had to worry about the shut down of what keeps this country running. Sometimes people never consider how much oil touches their lives. This time away from family is a hard thing but I look at the fellows and ladies who are getting shot at and how long they are away from their families and this make 3 weeks on and 3 week off seem like a small thing to do. You will make it and your wife will take care of the home front and God will get the glory for it all. You have a strong wife to say go, knowing that she will be the cement to keep it all going when you are away.
