A Thanksgiving
« on: July 16, 2012, 10:53:00 PM »
All, while we come to share each others load through prayer and encouragement we can all use a little GREAT news from time to time. That is why I would like to share with you something that I learned last night. I got a call last night from my oldest Granddaughter to share with me that she had excepted Christ as her Lord and Savoir. She is 8 years old. I have had the honor of baptizing my wife, my son and my daughter now my son has ask me to baptize her as well. What a privilege and a honor do so. We have taken another one from our enemy. Thanks for letting me share this with you all. God bless you.......Dusty

Dusty,

That makes my heart sing to read! What a joy for you and a blessing to Him to see another come before the foot of the Cross.

Thanks for sharing that personal and joyous moment!

Praise God, she come to the foot of the cross and came out of the tomb into His glorious light! Prayers for protection from the enemy so that she grows in the fullness of Christ's grace.

Well we got the baptizing done this morning without drowning her. I told her I was not going to cry but It didn't work. Just being obedient that one time in my life has paid off in great riches in my family. I ask Christ into my life and my wife followed as well as my 2 kids and now they are raising their kids in church. I still have 2 more grand kids to see come to this saving knowledge but hope one day to be able to baptize them as well. Thanks for sharing in this joy with me. God bless you all.......Dusty

Dusty what a great testimony. I have been blessed to see all four of my daughters come to the Lord and 10 of my fourteen grand kids and all baptized in Jesus name. Most still in church some backslid, but I pray for them all daily. I am confident the Lord will draw them all back. Praise God and all the Glory to Him.
"Then Peter said unto them. Repent all of you and be baptized in the Name of Jesus for remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:38
