There are not even words big enough describe how amazing and big Gods protection is over Donald and I- as most of you know Donald has been working in PA for about 6 months and its a good job, but last week out of the blue he got a call from someone he worked with before and was asking him if he was looking for work, not really but he listened to the offer but said he would pass, the next day this guys boss another guy who knows Donald called him and started courting him hard- I thought he might want to date him- The job is in the Midland area (NO we are not moving) and it is about the same money- well after he and I talked about it and prayed about it- we decided to make the change- We did some research on the company it is very stable- they are looking for long term people- well after he told them Friday evening he could start in about 6 weeks we were on a mini vacation in Arkansas and Saturday he checked his email and had an email from his current bosses boss that they were over budget and shutting the rigs down until Maybe after October MAYBE- God provided for us before we even knew there was a need- I can't explain how in awe of God I am at the moment. Donald will go back to PA for a week then be in Midland area starting Aug 15th and will be working 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off- thank you God for watching over us. -- Prayers in this new opportunity would be greatly appreciated and we are praying this is his job for him to finish out his career.

I have been working in the oilfield for over 34 years now and have seen this played out many times in my own life. I was saved 5 years after getting in this line of work and God has never let me miss a pay check even when others were getting laid off. I have always been kept working even if it was for one third of what I was making before. I went from derrickman pay to 60% roustabout pay one time and was glad to get it. God has done and will continue to show Himself in control as long as we continue to honor Him with our lives and time and money. God thanks for showing that you are always going to have our backs and will be watching our for us even when we think everything is going good. Amen.......Dusty

Interesting that they're shutting down things here in PA for a period, but gratifying that you two people who have witnessed and walked in faith strongly so often here, were preserved and lifted up!

Doc it has really slowed down in PA because of the drop in natural gas prices this year. Talisman completely moved out and others have significantly cut back. I thought my company would be OK, but being over budget and no money to finish the fiscal year is not good. My new company has been in business since 1908 and have leases to drill well into 2025 and it is oil, so better pay out for now. I give God all the praise for providing for me and my family. He is Great and Glorious!

We are drilling deepwater for oil and there seems to be a good bit of work left out there. I guess that all will depend on our end of year election as well. He is not oil friendly for the US anyways. The company we drill for BHPB just last year bought a bunch of the Chesapeake stuff in Arkansas and the bottom has fallen out of the gas market due to in large part the mild winters last year. There was not a lot of demand for it. Thank God for your Praise and hope this will be the thing you are looking for. God bless you and yours.......Dusty
