Please pray for my Dad
« on: December 11, 2012, 02:02:00 PM »
Hi folks. Please help me lift up my Dad in prayer. He was put in the hospital yesterday because he hasn't been eating and has grown very weak. They are trying to figure out what's going on with his severe loss of appetite. He suffers from asthma and some kidney problems but this seems like something else. We just don't know yet.

What I DO know is that the power of prayer can work miracles in the lives of men. Please pray for healing and that God would work to give the doctors knowledge and skills needed to help.

Thank you folks. I pray that all in need of God's grace and healing will receive it. During this Christmas season help us all remember the ultimate gift given to us through God's grace in Christ Jesus.

Merry Christmas to all

Sounds gnarly, my friend.  As parents age, all sorts of goofy things crop up.

Prayers certainly that the doctors can quickly find the source of this issue, help him regain his strength and appetite...although hospital food might not be a grand motivation!

Lord willing, he'll have his strength back and a firm grip on this ailment and be sitting up at Christmas dinner puttin it away like no tomorrow!
