My latest oncologist report
« on: August 19, 2013, 08:59:00 PM »
Still alive and praising 8) Had a ct scan last week and met with the oncologist today. He said the tumors have grown very little. He wants me to meet with the surgeon again to see if she thinks it would be good to do surgery if she could relieve the pressure on the kidneys. Right now the blood test shows some kidney damage and most new drug studies won't accept me because of that. There are 2 different drug studies for this type of cancer that he is thinking I should check into. One is in Houston and the other in New York somewhere. So That will be something we will be looking into. In the mean time God is blessing me with good health. Planning on going deer and bear hunting for a few days starting September 1.
Thanks for the prayers.
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

thanks for sharing your news, Galen!

Prayers continue for your long battle and His Will to be done--- and that His Will be for total eradication of that miserable "pickles" (remember one guy saying here his wife called her cancer "Pickles" cause she refused to say the other word?)

Prayers for the trial studies if that is what will help you most!

Keep on keeping the Son in your eyes!
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!
