Prayers for my sister...
« on: March 02, 2014, 09:54:00 PM »
My sister's fiancé was killed in a motorcycle accident today around 6pm in Upstate SC. I don't know many details, but he died on the scene, in front of my sister and her daughter, who were in a vehicle behind him. Pretty terrible. I'd appreciate it, if you fellows would lift her and my niece up in your prayers.

Oh Lord bring comfort in such a hard situation. Keep the evil one from tormenting them with lies. And bring many to comfort them. Thank you Jesus

Amen.  Can't improve on that, Galen!

Thanks for the prayer. The situation is more difficult than I initially understood. Apparently, my sister's fiancé, Andrew, was following her, and ran into the back of her somehow. He fell off his bike and was hit by a car following them. That car then knocked him into the oncoming lane, where he was hit by a truck.  My sister is on the verge of having a nervous breakdown.

LORD, Please be with all these folks as they process these events. Like YOUR love, somethings are beyond our ability to understand. Shower them with Peace that only YOU can provide.
Amen

Indeed, may your sister quickly come to realize that we control little in this life...

Prayers for God's grace to envelope her in the Peace that passes all understanding...
