You guys bring tears to my eyes....thank you all for your kind words and most of all lifting me up in prayer.

Going to clock out, meds are peaking....but here is the post from pow wow. You guys are awesome and I love you all dearly.

Guys, moment of lucidity here....quick post while I'm awake. Many thanks to all my brothers for all the kind words, calls, emails, and most of all prayers. You're too kind for posting Joe, you are always a dear friend. Terry, I'll call you when I can talk, tough with tiny breaths right now.

Long story short, I was following behind a large panel van too closely 5:15 tues morning on the way to work, he made a dramatic up on two wheels swerve that left me face to face with a parked semi. As my Pap-paw used to say, if yer gonna be dumb, you've got to be tough. Cracked sternum and two broke ribs from nothing but the seatbelt and airbag...not a scratch otherwise, absolute miracle I wasn't killed, maimed and no one else was injured. I'm surprised i can't see the feather shaped bruises from the angels wings cause that's the only explanation. They let me come home but have my share of pain to endure while things heal. I can guarantee it's a lesson I will not forget and am quite convinced God has some other plan for my near future. I pray I will prove worthy of another shot.

Joe,

Been out of touch here a few days... but oh, my... in the blink of an eye, eh?

I remember all too well how you lifted me up back years ago when Mom passed, and thru dad's trials...you were always there being a prayer warrior for me.

Now it's our turn to pay it forward.

In this fallen world, sometimes bad things happen to good people, but then again, there are times when God's hand is right where it needs to be.

Keep the Son in your eyes, JC...

Prayers to you Joe, God is still in charge, at times like this we find out how much. Prayers to the family as well..... cause if youre the kind of patient I am, they need all the help they can get..lol. I know what you mean of the Lord having a plan ahead for you, number of years back I fell out of a tree stand 24'high in the dead dark. Landed flat of my back with only the breath knocked out of me.. divine intervention proved itself to me that cold November morning.

Take care

Lanier
