To our French friends and members...
« on: January 11, 2015, 12:52:00 PM »
Let me express sadness at the terrible events that so recently took place in your country. It is good to see the strength and solidarity of your countrymen. Freedom is a sacred trust to be cherished and passed to successive generations. I pray that those who hold individual liberties so dear will prevail.

This may not pertain to trad bowhunting, but it certainly affects our French Trad Gang brothers, who have suffered such a terrible terrorist attack.

If this post is inappropriate on this forum, I apologize, but I feel compelled to show support to our French members and peace loving Frenchmen everywhere.
Sam

Well said, I love Paris and can't wait to go back. Good to see the rally today.

We all stand for freedom or we kneel to tyranny! May our own country learn this lesson again.
Everything I have and have become is due to the Lord and his great mercy.

Amen and prayers for wisdom, strength, and courage
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Amen.  Prayers for God's peace and direction for us all...

I have been truly impressed by what I've seen coming out of France....apparently they have a much better recollection of history than Americans.  Unfortunately, our generation that left fathers and uncles on the beaches at Normandy has apparently passed the torch to one that elect leaders who have no discernment of evil, much less the stomach to confront it!  God help us all!

Solidarity!

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.
