First off, I'm celebrating because I can walk better, though not enough to not need the chair. I'm going to investigate some offloading braces that would help me immensely.
However, we have a serious problem. First, nobody wants to help us repair our plumbing, because it is in a mobile home redone wrong, and two those that will are charging exorbitant prices. Try 10% of the total price of the house. It looks like it's going to need a total refit. When I was healthy I could have done it in a few days, as I own the PEX tools. I see my pulmonologist the 15th, and maybe he can help me with the breathing issue that's preventing me from doing so.
I'm in the works on a setup that would let me walk again mostly normally, but I don't know how much doctor support I'll get-Medicare is notorious for not caring. If they pitch a fit I'll develop it on my own-far too many Marfan patients need this kind of assistance, between the arthritis and the bone deformities we all have. It's my hope to hunt in it this year-a torture test if there is one.
But we have to overcome the hurdle of the water. It's really making my wife upset. Like bad level of upset, spend some time in the BMU again level.
