Happy THANKS-giving!
« on: November 26, 2015, 09:03:00 AM »
I'm sure others echo my sentiments but are busy with family doings...

But, lest we forget, this holiday was a time to STOP, REFLECT and give THANKS to God for all that we've now got, and for our surviving the trials of the past year!

Whatever our circumstance, we all have things that we are facing that are challenging, but we ALSO all have considerable blessings...to have a computer is not a given in many parts of the world today.  To have family to share a generous meal is not a given. To have reasonable health and health care, while under attack for some of us aging souls, it's still in place and all these things, warm home, family, food and smaller things of luxury, are blessings we soon take forgranted.

May God's blessing be upon all who venture here and those who do not!

Peace out!
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Amen Doc. Praise God for all He does for us
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki
