A TRUE THANKSGIVING
« on: November 27, 2016, 08:12:00 PM »
On Sept 24. my cousin, who has always been like a big brother, even in our 60s, suffered a fall that shattered his skull. Drs. removed a hand-sized piece of it to relieve swelling. He was placed on life support via a feeding tube and ventilator. His progress was challenged by infections and blood clots. Mostly unresponsive to all efforts to stimulate him. Last week they decided he was stable enough to replace the piece (it had been frozen). Two days later he is talking and using all limbs at will. Rehab starts tomorrow. Answered prayers to be sure. Amen and Amen

Praise God who's will is to heal and save.

Thanks for sharing that Jed.  Indeed, praises are due.  The best doctor is God!   :)

I wasn't sure where that post was going and I kept reading faster, but the conclusion is wonderful.

Prayers for continued healing and progress.

Share with your cousin to "keep the Son in his eyes!  Thank you, Lord!

A very happy story indeed. Our Lord is great!

Again, I thank you for your thoughtful support. He is scheduled to go home next Tuesday. Will need therapy for strength and some co-ordination issues but a bright outcome is on the horizon.
I hope you all enjoy a holy and joyous Christmastide.
Peace
