help me understand
« on: May 27, 2017, 09:05:00 PM »
Yesterday afternoon we arrived home with a large sheriff dept. contingency at the neighbors house across the street.  We speculated a search for drugs as we'd seen smoking taking place before but I don't really care about that.

In minutes we found that much worse had happened.  The two babies age 27 months and 16 months got out of the house and climbed into the open car to play.  The door got closed and with temps at 100 degrees were gone in minutes.  I can't stop thinking about it and it's tearing me up.

the poor kids and how do their parents ever live with this?

I pray for the parents and deputies who have to live with that the rest of their days.

When I have seen parents with little ones on my end of town that use drugs, I have harassed the local police until they hated me more than the drug users, but the drug users always eventually got arrested.

That is very sad to read Mike and not sure if parents were even paying attention ?
It does break your heart seeing innocent children getting hurt or losing their life due to neglect of their parents.
Not sure where the parents were but if they were stoned on something illegal then they should be arrested and charged for their deaths.
Maybe it would be a good idea if you let the police know what was going on over there and what you seen over time.
I know it's too late and in today's world we see things But are afraid to say something cause we worry what they may do to us .
I always remember this "For evil to prevail Is for Good Men to do nothing"!
Mike I know you are a good person and this ways heavy on your heart and you know what you have to do even if it's too late.
Those children were possibly neglected and God has them in his presence now .
I'm praying for you Mike as well cause it is heavy on your heart !

Why?  That is a question not to be answered on this side of heaven, Mike...but it shows you care to have it bother you.

Kids have been doing stuff and getting in trouble from stories I heard as long as there have been kids...or so it seems.

Sometimes, there is the ultimate price to pay.

God knows the situation, whether inattention was to blame or just kids being mischievous kids.

Tragedy is all around us, driven home when it hits closest to home.  It's a fallen world we live in Master Jack, and why we must keep telling people about God's love and salvation, for there is no alternative...we live, we die, but there is hope if we profess and follow a path.

I'm done...suffice it to say there is no answer to such things... I will join Keith in prayers for those kids souls, their parents to mend their ways and for your heartache to ease

This is so distressing. These poor children will never grow to be teenagers and adults. It is enough to make a grown man cry. Before we judge the parents, the circumstances need to be known. Will add the family to my prayer list.

God gave man free will and only 10 commandments. Adam's choice screwed up the human heart and man continually chooses wrong due to an inheritance of sin. Sadly sin affected the choice of both the parents and the children and all are paying the price for it. It wasn't God's will but it wouldn't be free choice if He interfered. Man believes God should stay out of his life until he receives the results of his actions then man believes it's God's fault.

Lord take care of those two innocents. How can a parent not know where their two very young children are???? Praying for the two innocents and for those who had to endure this in mind and body.

This is terrible.  It has made national news.  Prayers for the little ones.
