African Journey

My friends and I are trying to figure out which is better. Numib or S Africa. It started out with just a friend and I, but now I think there's gona be about five or six of us. Were all trad shooter's. So a PH with the propper set up's is a must. I just don't wanta break the bank. We figure about 8k with air fair and shipping, 4-5 lower end critter's. Sound possible? I like Warthogs and Baboons myself.   :knothead:

Both have there pro and cons Mike.  Namibia is a relatively new bowhunting spot as it has only been legal there for about 10 years.  I think that this makes it a little more fun as not many people have done it.  Also some species are particularly nice there including Gemsbok, eland, and mountain zebra.  As a general rule, the prices are still very reasonable and the ranches are typically a little bigger in size than the average SA game ranch.  There are also some unfenced hunting options in Namibia.  I don't no of any in SA.  On the other hand, SA has tons of options.  Game numbers there are relatively high and their are often more species available on SA game ranches.  I chose to hunt Namibia after researching a lot of different places.  I think that you will have a great hunt at either if you choose the right outfitter and PH.  Give me a PM and I will get you some information about a spot in Namibia.  Brady

At present Namibia is the safest country in Africa. Crime rate much lower than south africa and the political system is also far superior. That said, if you are only planning on hunting and will not be touring before or after hunt the above is not a major concern.
