Dating Howatt recurves?

I've been looking for a '67 Bear simply because they are easy to recognize, and that was the year I was born.  I would prefer to buy a Howatt, but don't know how to recognize a 1967 model year.  I am looking for a hunting bow in the 45-50# range and want to stay away from white glass.  Any advice?
