New Namibian opportunity
« on: June 20, 2010, 04:03:00 AM »
Hiya! I am the newbie on the forum. I am relocating to Namibia from RSA end of June and will be developing a Nature reserve of 34000hectares in the south of Namibia. I will be based on a 12000hectare farm bordering this reserve. I am going to ,only , allow bowhunting on the farm. Would any of you be interested in coming for a traditional hunt??

sounds pretty neat.  Good luck with the move, when do you think you'll start hunting the farm?

Moving to Nam end of June. Then wil take some time to sort out a couple of things.I am taking over a farm that hasnt had anybody live on it for 2 years. You can imagine , the place be in perfect working order or be in shambles!! I am not geared for hunting yet , so no blinds,no tree hides , nothing! Will keep you all posted as things go along.

I was given an "Accles and Pollock Apollo Falcon" steel recurve bow as a present. It is a 2 pice bow made entirely out of steel. Busy fixing it up a bit and will post pics once finished.

can someone give a littlebit of an overview of prices?

e.g. the price for a wildebeast, kudu, zebra etc and what a mount will cost?
or a link to a thread where its already been discusses.

will the prices differ, if you hunt at other (dont know how to say) places/agencys?
e.g. once a kudu costs lets say 300$ and at another place its 350$.
Will you get your money back, if you dont get to shoot every animal you wanted/planned to?
what if youre like "man this is so awesome , i would like to take a second zebra", is that possible , if decided spontaneous?

sorry for posting this in your thread gamo, but i didnt feel like those questions were worth an own and this was the newest africa thread i think
