suggestions for use of hide scraps

Howdy TG'ers. This is not really archery related so if it gets yanked I understand. I have been really blessed and have taken a number of animals (with longbow, recurve and stick bow). I have a bunch of hide scraps after the mounts were done. Back skins and pieces removed from the cape by the taxidermist. I cut some zebra skin panels to go in the pedestal that I made for the zebra mount but am looking for ideas to use the rest. If any of you have ideas and/or pics I would appreciate it. At this point the back skins are draped over my couches and the smaller pieces are crammed in a box. Thanks for any suggestions.

A zebra armguard or strike plate for a bow would look nice I guess

I think a quiver paneled with zebra skins would look pretty cool. Of course we're assuming that you have zebra. You have any cape buffalo? That would be a great hunting quiver material.

Shooting tabs would be easy and cool. Possibles bag? I've seen pillows and they look pretty good. Cover your favourite African hunting book. Make picture frames. Roll into a tube and make a pen holder for the desk.

My buddy hunts Africa time to time, he gives me all the backhides to build quivers, armguards etc. for the two of us. Most are at his house.
This one is obviously of his Kudu, the brown leather is from the backhide of his Eland that he tanned to leather. I had to buy the warthog tusk, cuz he cant kill one to save his life! Porcupine quills and guinea fowl feathers finish it up.
I did one with his gemsbok that I think came out even better, with an impala horn attached to hold his poison for his poison dipped arrows. Just for looks of course. Bubinga plug in the end. That one had a knife sheath made out of the eland leather too attached

If the hides are large enough, you could have your taxidermist make throw pillows. Or if you are handy, you can create an African continent hide map. Cut up the various pieces into the shapes of all the countries and glue to a cutout of the continent of Africa.
I once made a zebra skin back quiver with leftover scape. It was uncomfortable to wear because the short hair would poke through your shirt.

There's only one Coaster
What kind of scraps... maybe a selfbow grip or possibly rests and striker plates?
Warthog Ivory makes great knife scales .... maybe bow tips? Never seen it used as tips.
Knife sheaths?
