Not a giant by any means but a nice deer. Rut is going on full blast and I have to be out of state during the hunt (Jan 1-15).

Out beyond the ears, good symetry...shooter! What part of NM are you in? I have a friend that has property outside of Pie Town.

Brett,
Took a drive up to Cloudcroft and cut back through the backroads to Mayhill. There were deer everywhere and I bet I saw 500 turkey along with a couple of herds of elk. If you drew out in 34 shoot me a e-mail and I'll tell you where these guys were at.
Snag,
Some of the big boys come from that part of the state. I will make it over there sometime hopfully.

I am looking into landowner tags from him or his neighbor. His land borders a large parcel of land that he sees elk on frequently.
