Bamboo
« on: December 28, 2007, 10:50:00 AM »
I was in a local craft store the other day and noticed bamboo pieces about 6' long for sale.  These were about 1 1/2 - 2 " in diameter.  Could they be cut down to be used for backing?  I think they were less than $10 each.

You will have trouble with bamboo that small.  Most used for backing is 6 - 8" in diameter.
