Hey Folks,

I'm sick to report that someone lifted my Jay St Charles Thunderbird #152 from my shop in Seattle.  If anyone hears of a T-bird for sale, or recently sold, I'd like to know about it.

Thanks,
Tom

I'll keep an eye out for it online

Surely, let us hope, it was a professional thief, not a true traditionalist. I've heard stories from another dealer about a father-son team who would go into shops and one would distract the owner or manager with conversation, or test-shooting a bow, while the other lifted and made off with all sorts of stuff. We want to feel we are above and free from such human scum, but we are not. Even so, I doubt we have anywhere near the problem of, let's say "other than traditional archery" groups. This guy sounds like he knew what he was after. His downfall will be, we must hope, that he stole not a mill-run thus anonymous bow, but a standout gem. I've rarely been more angry or felt more capable of violence than when my home was broken into. It wasn't the lost property so much as the feeling that my most sacred space had been invaded. I am a big fan of "Make my day" laws. Karma, Golden Rule ... if only they worked in fact! Best luck, dave

My six years in the Corp gave me some good ideas about what to do with thieves and there ain't no lawmen necessary. Jerk! I have absolutley no use in the world for thieves. Sorry about your bow and will watch where I can.
