Wow! You really did a great job on this one. The blending of all the woods for a total overall great look is excellent. She should be proud to be seen anywhere with it even on a bad hair day.

Sweet bow, Some great work, I bet she loves it. But if she hates it let me know, and my son will take it off your hands.

Thanks guys!! She really likes it,gotta get a good string made for it and some more arras for her. Arnold,I got a good bunch of cedar in,got some pics, heres a pair I cut yesterday...

And the cedar pile..

Only bad thing is the knots,a lot of throw away pieces!
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Kenny, great job on the bow. Question: Would the knots in the cedar lams weaken them? Thanks! Tom

Tom,for thin veneers,I don't think the smaller pin knots would. Those bigger ones couldn't be good tho. JMO

Tom, MDOC says red cedar is a true juniper. We always just called it cedar round here tho.

Very nice, Kenny!  Great job on lining up the arcs.  I never tried putting them in.

That cedar you have looks great and cedar limbs make a great shooting longbow.  They look really nice on an osage riser, too.
