Thank You Frank and Shell
« on: January 01, 2008, 09:02:00 PM »
I just wanted to give some Kudos to 2 of the best people on Trad Gang. I've come to be friends with them through this site. They are always ready to give whatever they can and do all they can to help folks in need.

Some time ago, Frank was looking for some wood for knife handles. I asked for his address and sent him a box of scraps I had in the shop. That opened the door for alot of giving back and forth. I feel as though they have done the bigger portion of the giving.

A few months ago Shell sent me a box of craft supplies to help my daughter get started beading. I thought she was sending me a few things for her. It was a box full of stuff. Also in that box was a very large piece of buffalo leather. Soft and beautiful and a kind of yellowish tan.

My son has been using a black cloth junior golf set bag as his quiver. (it worked) After Shell found out about it, she was going to make a quiver for Adam. The busy Lady with the HUGE heart doesn't have time to do that, so in order to stop her from adding something more to her plate, I got busy today and made this;

So, Shell, he has a perfectly funtional quiver, not as nice as your beautiful handiwork, but some of the leather came from you.

Thank you both for all you do on Trad Gang.

Kenny

I agree. Frank & Shell are always there for others who are in need or to just say a kind word at a moment of great need. I've partaken of their generousity many times.

Well Shell and I thank you Kenny for being a great friend. And we also wanna thank everyone on here we consider friends and family. Trad Gang is a great place that just makes one wanna give when they can and what ever they can. We may fall behind in our hobby but we will never fail to delivery. Thanks to everyone for understanding about Shell being so far behind on her stuff but please believe me she and I are not slacking. Her health has been up and down. This hobby was a lot easier to keep up with when I was out of work.LOL So Shell and I wish everyone a great New Year. Kenny, Shell and I love bro. BTW you make a very nice quiver.<><

They are two great people and close friends of mine! They have BIG hearts and are two of the most giving people I know. They would give away the shirts off thier backs if they thought you needed it. Im glad to call them friends.

By the way Kenny thats a great quiver you made there. I bet your son is pumped about that!!

Tow of the best without a doubt.  I too am proud to call them friends.
The only quiver that might be better than one made by Shell is one made by Dad.  Nice job Kenny!  :thumbsup:

Kenny.  You did a wonderful job on the quiver for your little guy. It looks great on him.  Very nice thing you did by letting everyone know that we have two very special people in our tradgang family.  Does not surprise me tho.  I have been having health issues and Dirty Bill and another person whose name escapes me at this time (so sorry SIR) came out of no where and offered me time and understanding.  Offered me their email adresses in case I just wanted to talk.  Awesome group of people here on Tradgang.  keep up the fantastic work people.  You ALL make it worth while being here everyday.  Love yall Dave from Nova Scotia

Thanks for all the nice comments on Adam's quiver.

Dave from N.S., glad you found friends here. It's a blessing every day to come here and read about good people doing good things for good people. I wish the whole world would see how things could be if everybody had servents hearts!
