couple ursa minor knives
« on: January 06, 2012, 12:03:00 PM »
Uddeholm 15N20 blades by Ben Tendick, properly heat treated and tempered. Strong and sharp.
I have hafted these to black bear phalanx bones with titanium filled structural epoxy. The hidden tangs are then wire wrapped with German nickle silver that is then wrapped with rawhide.
Both sheaths have 3 extra strong disc magnets. The inverted carry sheath is dyed braintan buckskin over saddle leather. It features a turquoise filled bear claw, old green whiteheart trade beads, copper beads and turquoise blue glass padre beads.
The other sheath can be worn as a neck or belt carry, maybe even strapped to a quiver or possibles bag. It features beaver tail and pygmy rattler skins over dyed rawhide. Copper beads and cones and a red padre bead.

  both for $SOLD
