I was going through the Gang site to some areas i dont normally go to and was on the Compton Bowhunters threads. I ended up on the Compton Bowhunters website and read of "Chief" Compton and was wondering if any of his bows are still around.
BTW, This site has alot to offer. I usually go to the Pow Wow, classifieds, Prayers, and thats about it. Take a few minutes and see what all is available. Theres a bunch.

There was a gentleman at last year's UBI banquet who had an original Compton yew longbow. I've got photos of it somewhere. If memory serves, I think he said he owned two of them.

Get a hold of Jay St Charles. Few know archery history like he does.
