My wife gave me beman arrows for christmas, I have always shot wood, or alum arrows so this is a new venture for me, They are beman 400,s cut to 29 inches, I went and got some 100 grn brass inserts, with 145 grn point they bareshafted straight, fletched them up and they really shoot straight but I notice alittle moore jump in the bow, weighed them with brass and 145 grn head they are only weighing 535 grns. they shoot good with 145 or 125 grn head, what I,m concerned about is the weight. I,m shooting a 68# longbow and I don,t want to hurt it. I dont like the idea of weight tubes, question I have is there a more economical way to add weight to the frount I,d be happy to get 600 or there abouts, Or does a person just leave them alone and shoot them where there at. I just hunt deer and turkeys.
