We still have a few opening for our spring 2013 bear camp. Our camp is located inside of the famed Mastigouche Wildlife Reserve of Quebec. Many outfitters mention this reserve in their hunt ads but we are the only outfit allowed the privilege of hunting inside its borders where only 32 tags are issued each year. The reserve is also bordered by a 500 sq. mi. Federal Park where no hunting is allowed.
Biologists estimate the bear population at of 750 bears inside the reserve so this means old giant bears roam the place. We are located an easy 2 hour drive north of Montreal and airport.
We offer 5 and 6 day hunts and have a maximum of 8 hunters in camp at one time. We maintain a minimum of 25 bait sites over a vast area so there are always multiple baits sites for you to hunt. We LOVE traditional archers and all stands are set with you in mind.
This exclusive territory is vast at nearly 975 square miles and we only hunt the month of June. The bears will be in pre-rut or full rut and this means you will often see many bears in one night. This also means the big boars will be on the prowl for sows. If you are looking for a monster black bear, you are looking in the right place.
Our hunt fees are all inclusive so there is no hidden cost to worry about. Our hunt fee of $2,650.00 on a 5 day hunt includes:

Very comfortable lodging in cabins on a beautiful river
Multiple low pressure bait sites per hunter that are guaranteed to have bears
Three great meals prepared for you each day
All field transportation included and airport pickup is available for a very reasonable fee.
We assist with all paperwork on your arrival and get you ready for exporting your bear
Tracking, recovery and trophy care is all included and we have a freezer facility
We can accommodate all skill levels and ages and all weapons except hand guns. This is a great camp to bring your wife or children on a hunt of a lifetime. We have maintained a better than 90% kill ratio since 1996 with very close to a 100% shooting opportunity. Our 90+% kill rate includes several hunters that are only looking to take P&Y or B&C bears and allowed many bears to walk.
