Bearded hunters axe
« on: October 17, 2013, 03:39:00 PM »
Up for grabs is a hammer pole version of my Skeg axe.
I gave it polished green micarta scales with a sharp beard.
I ran the scales all the way up on this one so it can be choked up on for smaller tasks.

This one comes with a kydex sheath.
Here are the specs.

"Skeg Axe" w/ hammer pole
OAL -16"
Head length - 5 7/8"
Cutting edge - 4" + 1.5" sharp beard
Handle - Scalloped green micarta attached with 1/4" screws and G/flex epoxy
Steel - 4140 appx. 55rc head and spring tempered tang
Price - $500 + $19 sh.
Paypal preferred to bentendick at gmail.com

Thanks for looking!
