The Frost River Isle Royale Jr. Bushcraft Pack will carry a LOT of gear. Built as a full featured pack the Isle Royale Jr. is designed to haul heavy loads. Pockets on the front of the pack create a slim profile; this aids traveling off trail without becoming entangled in brush. Twin pockets straddle an axe sleeve on the front of the pack, lash squares at the bottom, and an extended hood all allow overstuffing and lashing stuff to the outside of the pack.
The Frost River Summit Pack is an expertly crafted sack to wear on your back and haul the stuff that needs to be carried. A backpack with straps attached to a solid brass ring–what more do you need (or want)? It’s simple, just toss stuff inside, throw it on your back and roll. It’s carry-on compliant, about the size of a five gallon bucket with a flat spot for your back. Waxed canvas, great leather, double reinforced bottom, solid brass hardware, guaranteed for life–enough said.
