3V Tribal kwaiken
« on: February 05, 2015, 09:58:00 PM »
Hey guys! Up for grabs is one of my compact Toge kwaikens. These are the perfect size for an edc, and this one with it slim handle works quite well for pocket carry. The blade is CPM 3V, and heat treated by myself. My heat treat process includes a proper cryo treatment in LN and a low temp temper. (Thanks to Dan Keffeler for HT pointers on 3V)
I hollow ground this one on a 12 wheel. 99% of my blades are flat ground, so this one is unique for me. The wrap is dark grey hemp cord with a black 550 cord turks head knot all soaked in G/flex epoxy.

I forgot to take a picture of it, but it also has my signature tapered fuller on the spine.

The sheath has nice retention and is Molle lok ready, so it can be carried in any direction, including inverted. It also slips nicely into a side pocket.

Here are the specs.

OAL - 8.5
Blade 3 3/4"  hollow ground   MY signature tapered fuller is on the spine although not pictured.
Steel - .214" CPM 3V    60rc   HT and LN cryo done by myself.
Handle - Dark gray hemp cord and 550 cord turks head knot. Soaked in g/flex epoxy
Sheath - Tek lok ready kydex
Price - $325 + $12 Insured Priority shipping
Paypal preferred or postal MO

Thanks for looking!!
