in need of some advice on a take down recurve.
« on: January 03, 2008, 11:52:00 PM »
well first off man it's been forever since I posted. anyhow I'm looking for a low cost take down recurve to take with me to college, I'm looking at picking up an Impala heritage recurve, relatively cheap the other PSE bows I've used have been of good quality. Im just wondering if anybody has any opinions on this bow. oh yeah and my nephew has expressed interest in the PSE sequoia, I might pick him up one for his upcoming birthday, any thoughts on either bow. Thanks in advance. Man it's good to be back.

You can buy a Quinn that's made in Texas for similar money and it is a much higher quality bow.

Vermonster is right. Stay away from the PSE's. The Quinns are a nice bow for the price. look thru the classifieds as well. I have seen T/D's listed for around $200. Shawn

Lot of time you can pick up good looking and good shooting ChekMate TD Hunter I or II for in the $200.
