2-Lite Bow Quiver
« on: October 29, 2015, 01:59:00 PM »
My new 2 blade arrow quiver is handcrafted with 9-10 oz California latigo and designed to securely carry 2 arrows on any recurve, longbow or even a selfbow!  I am calling this quiver my 2-Lite bow quiver.

Each hood is constructed with 3 layers of durable latigo leather which creates 2 slots for two blade broadheads or even field tips to slide into.

These come in my standard cognac brown and can either have an elk head, a whitetale deer or a trad archery embossed on it or come plain.

Special order colors available are black or tan. The black and tan leather does not take the embossing as well as the cognac brown.

After I cut the hood out I mark and hand punch the stitching holes, I bevel the edges, dye them and then hand rub the edges to slick them up before I hand stitch the double whip stitch with artificial sinew.

I have a piece of delrin that is machined out to move the arrows just far enough away from the bows riser to make it possible to get your hand in between both.

To hold the arrows securely I use a Selway arrow gripper at the bottom which also makes it possible to replace the gripper if you ever need to.

To make sure the quiver stays where you put it on your bow I use a creep rubber pad that goes in between the quivers two halves which also prevents the quiver from scratching up the bows limbs.

To strap on the quiver to the bow without having to drill into the wood or use the limb bolts on a 3 piece bow I have chosen to use Great Northern Quiver Co. rubber straps.  These rubber straps are the best on the market and will absolutely hold the quiver so securely on your bow that you will never hear a rattle or have to worry about re-tightening it after you use it for a while.  This system is the perfect choice for recurves, longbows and even selfbows!

I hunted hard with this quiver on my bow in the mountains of Colorado this past September and have been using it as well while hunting here in Oklahoma since the season opened in October.

I have to admit up until now I have never been a fan of a quiver on my bow but with this 2 arrow quiver it is so light and so low profile that you hardly even notice it is there!  That is why I am calling it my 2-Lite strap on bow quiver.

This quiver sells for $65 USD.  I can do PayPal at: [email protected] or you are welcome to mail me a check or money order.  If you need my address or for any other questions feel free to email me or send me a PM.

The newly improved version of my 2-Lite strap on bow quiver now has a sewn in welt between each layer!

A couple of things I failed to mention about this awesome quiver.  The whole thing weighs less than 6 oz! Hence the name, 2-Lite bow quiver.

For shipping in the USA add $7.00 which will cover priority mail and will include free tracking information to your email.

And I'd be remiss if I did not give credit to Tim Roberts from Farr West Leather for coming up with this design.  He developed this several years ago and earlier this year I bought the design from him.  Thanks Tim!

I am working on a design to carry 3 or even 4 blade heads in but have not perfected that just yet.  At this time the 2-Lite bow quiver is only available for 2 blade broadheads or field tips.  Also coming out in early 2016 a model to carry Judo points or small game heads in!  Stay tuned...

Good news to report!  The 3 arrow Judo or small game head strap on bow quiver is nearly ready!

Please note that I will be away from my computer most of next week.  I will answer all messages or emails when I return from a short term mission trip to Mexico.

Merry Christmas!
