Tri-lam Osage
« on: November 12, 2015, 06:42:00 PM »
Picked up a few pieces of Osage for tri-lams several weeks back. It's kiln dried, but has been setting in a lumber barn for no telling how long, so I gave it several weeks in my low humidity shop to help bring the moisture content back in line.

I want be putting these on my site for now. I thought I'd give it a chance to move off here before putting it on the site.

No fancy pictures, but should be pretty easy to see the sizes. If you have any question drop me an e-mail.  [email protected]

All slats are quarter sawn (edge grain).

I'm not trying to say this is top notch slats, but nothing I'd be afraid to build a bow out of. There are a few pin knots and even a few rough spots along the edges. I had to work around a lot of bad material to get these. For now it's the best I've been able to find. If I come into anything better I'll let everyone know.

I only have sets 4 and 5 remaining in the slats. Both are good sets of slats, but do have a few pen knots.

Riser blocks 2, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 9 are still available.
