300poundleaf:
" (Tip) When shooting a pig, aim for the shoulder or slightly ahead of the shoulder. The vital area of a pig is more forward than a deer."
I assume they are talking about when using a gun?
I am not a hog hunter; is that the right place to shoot a hog? right

I agree with others about digging the holes. I have used milk and corn and also i have used corn with a package of Koolaid (i think they prefer fruit punch....haha) sprinkled on top to attract hogs.......both ways work great for me.

Just wondering, does the beer dull the hogs senses and make them easier to hunt or does it make them 9 feet tall and bulletproof like it does us? Are wobbly pigs a more difficult target?

Note on the baiting rules in Michigan. It is only legal to bait wildlife betweeen Sept. 15 and Jan 1 in Michigan from my read of the rules on the DNR website. Baiting of Turkeys and migratory birds is forbidden. Feeding for recreational viewing is permitted year round but must be near your residence. Be sure of the Rules and how they apply to your shoot if you proceed.

Last arrow is correct. I don't think it is illegal to bait for them, just keep it within the baiting regulations,, Good luck bro I hope you can get a couple and if'n you do tell me how you do,,Take care J.B.
