You mormally gain around 6-8fps. with low stretch strings, How many pounds is it. i shoot 50-55#s and use a ten or 12 strand D97 or 8125 string. shawn

I like D97 for my longbows over B50.I don't use it for the speed increase but for the way it feels. It makes my bow feel more solid, not springy. On some longbows it will reduce handshock using a low stretch string over dacron. You will need to increase your spine alittle. If you have the length you could shorten your arrows alittle. On one of my longbows I switched from B50 to FF I needed to increase my spine roughly 5#.

Well I think Ill just shoot it with the b50 for now and get used to it,Im kind of leary of what that fast flight can do as far as damage to bow tips.Even though the bow is built to accomadate them.I dont think a few feet per sec matters when your only 30ft from that big buck, which is how close i have to be.lol

I have two Bob lees set up almost the same.I cannot quite one of them to my likeing with FF the other has dacron and is quite and I cannot see enough diff. They will both be wearing dacron with Bow hush and hush puppies or MM strings soon after hunting season. The wife says it is not loud but to me I hear a diff.Kip
