lost digital camera
« on: June 02, 2006, 10:26:00 AM »
I went diving in Key Largo this past weekend. As I was jumping off the back of the boat, I had my cannon digital camera in it underwater case,(very expensive) in my hand. I floated back to the surface stuck my regulator in my mouth, took a couple breaths, and began looking for my wife and father in law. We then decided to dive down, and get ready for the shark feeding portion of the dive. It was awesome until I realized my bouyant camera, that is supposed to be connected to a string and carabiner, wanst hitting me in the face like it usually did. Then I realize, OH SHHHHHHT, I forgot to clip the carabiner to myself. I sat there pissed off, petting sharks, and wondering how I would explain this to the wife.
Back on the boat, she understood, and felt bad for me. I was so upset. The camera had pics of my 7 months old son, and to me they were worth more than the camera. Oh well , wont happen again.
