canon gl1 digital video recorder

I know a guy that has this camera w/accessories for sale and I was wondering if anyone here had an oppion on it. Here is a list of what he has,

Canon GL1 3ccd miniDV Digital video recorder.
- 3 Batteries
- 8 Sony 60 minute Premium MiniDV tapes, still in packaging.
- 1 MiniDV Digital video head cleaner.
- 1 UV filter for camera lens
- 1 Canon battery wall charger.
- 1 Canon outlet power supply.
- 1 Fluid Head tripod with a Canon specific remote on handle, quick detach mount for camera and a soft carry bag.
- 1 Canon wireless remote control.
- 1 wind screen for mic to cut wind noise
- 1 Canon GL1 specific metal case

total price $1000.00

If it is in decent condition...buy it.  That is a great deal if the heads aren't worn out.  I think that model tells you how many hours are on the heads.  If you decide not to by it let me know.  Brady

That sounds like a heck of a deal to me. The GL1 is an awesome camera that you would love... great for filming your hunts!!
