Shortest shot

Okay lets go the other way now. I'll start. Less than 1 yard. On the ground, had to lean back to make sure he didn't walk in to the point of the arrow! Button buck, neck shot to the artery. He ticked me off, he had RUN into the area and trotted towards me. It was an earn a buck tag year for my area. I said you are NOT getting that close and me not getchya!

Sorry, I dinna quit follow the "go the other way now/thread is already up on here"...but I had a six pointer come dashing up in back of me during the rut. And I do mean in, or on the back of me, because I twisted sideways to let him through.
Can't remember offhand the buck scent I wore that day...Richardson's Indian Buck Lure? Evidently, he thought I was something to investigate most closely.
Never did get a shot off. Tis hard, when all you see is hooves and white hair...
