Claudia, Dianne and I have hunted the Spearhead twice. Wonderful place to hunt isn't it? So many nice lopes and lots of big mulies as well. Was Leo your guide? He's a great guy. I could make another trip to Spearhead just to visit Leo.

I can attest to the fact that a Spearhead mulie is second to none when it comes to being bedded one minute and 40 yards away looking back just a second later ha ha. Durn things made a fool out of me on multiple occassions.

Congrats again on your lopes.

Good going Claudia. I hope to make it out there in the next few seasons to give that a try. I guess I know who to consult on the matter!!

Great looking animals, It looks like your shooting is tops as always. Good to hear from you, Cameron

Fantastic, Claudia! Congratulations!
Someday you and I will take the Great Hart by our own skill alone, and with an arrow. And then the Little Gods of the Woods will chuckle and rub their hands and say, "Look, Brothers. An Archer! The Old Times are not altogether gone!"

Cameron,
How have a been?! I've got my osage Widow tuned up for whitetails and passed up several small bucks and doe fawns with it in hand last night.  I'll let you know when the Widow draws blood, which I hope will be soon ;-).

Ferret,
Spearhead is a paradise for critters!  Yes, Leo is still there and Shirley still produces her famous (and waist-expanding) meals.  Frank has all but turned the hunting operation over to the boys...David and Keith...to coordinate.  Of course, he is there with a watchful eye ;-).  I'm going back again in 2007 and already I can't wait!
