Steve we never took very many pics and only a couple turned out.  Digital cameras are great but trying to take pictures in the dark with only the dimly lit viewing screen leaves for lots of headless human pictures.  LOL!.  Here's another one that turned out ok too except it's not as easy to see antler's against camo.

You know I don't have any really good pictures of just my bow.  Here's one from in my basement, but I'll have to take some of it outside in the sunlight sometime.  I ordered it with an elevated rest, elk antler tips and shedua veneers.  FF with Walnut Dymondwood.  I've used vanes when I shot aluminum arrows but feathers are more forgiving and more accurate for me. I like shooting off an elevated rest and I think it makes me more accurate.  Rick.

Nice job Rick.  Good job in keeping your head about the shot and not pushing him.  I would love to get a buck that size in velvet.

I hope to own a Silvertip some day.  I keep checking the classifieds for a LH 60-70#er, to save the year-long wait.  No luck so far, but sooner or later....

Rick,

That is just a great buck...I keep coming back to look at him.  Pack a little tripod next time and you can use the self timer on the camera after you set up the shot with your flashlight.

How many deer are you residents allowed?

Nice buck, Rick !!  Congrats on a great hunt.

From one skinny guy to another, get yourself a set of 45 pound limbs + or - and make shooting easier and more fun.
