VS Whitetail Challange...I think I'm going to be ill

It reminds me of that other show where they have all the big name flyfishers compeating.You can tell they took all the fun right out of it by all the bleeping over curse words.Why? I mean we are supposed to compeating against the trout or deer,not each other.

All I'm saying is pick your battles.  Spend political energy and clout where it might be effective.  Screaming about this is nearly a chicken little thing.  We are way down the slippery slope and it has nothing to do with anything on this show.  Pick up any hunting magazine at a book store and look at it from a non-hunter's view.  See if you'd want your kid to be a hunter based on that.

I agree John. This is a waste of resources and energy on our part so far as writing sponsors. Just change the channel and choose where you spend your money wisely. Hunting's future is in a precarious place right now. We need to lead by example and stop chasing our tales on things we can't change now.

The only show I watch on VS is Gander MT's show. It is one of the best outdoor shows on TV, but it is not on that much anymore. It is just a simple show were they have normal guys doing what they love.

No respect for the animals, exemplified. Most TV hunting shows are marginal at best. Talk about shooting the foot off...

I have no respect for Larry Weishuhn and Ron Spomer. On one segment they both said that there should be no special archery seasons. Spoomer said archers should suck it up and hunt with the gun hunters. He needs to sshut his mouth and try bowhunting before he shoots it off.

I'm not a man who is great with words. I think it is mostly public image with these shows that hurt us. I also see one big thing undermining hunting, and that is that anti' all agree with eachother, but not all hunters agree with each outher. Gunners, archers, muzzle loaders all seem to have thier problems with each other. Even with in each group there is big disagreement. I'll just stop here.
