Yeah more solid work by the Sun newspaper.  I guess they aren't going to report on the bear out in W.MD that tried pull the air conditioner out of a ladies house while she was in it to get to her.

It was killed by the husband and later found to contain rabies.

Seems like a waste of time and money to print that ad.  

As it stands the MD black bear population is big enough that the season is over right after it starts.  

You would think if the bear numbers were low like the ad claims, it would stand to reason, that the season would last more than a day or two to reach the harvest goals.

its funny.... the same paper is reporting that a eaastern shore 20yo girl shot a 615# on monday !!!    Congrats to her. ( even though it was taken with gun )

A ton of us actually used it in our favor. We called the number in the ad and let them know we SUPPORT the hunt. Our comments were very well received by a very nice lady at the governors office (who actually supports the hunt as well).
