TG, How many hunter's hunt the same are that you hunt?  Is it a lease with limited hunters or open to about anyone?  Are all the hunters looking for wall hangers and is their a number of hunters (youths or less experianced) that are shooting the smaller buck? I am guessing that coming from out of state you hunt a lease or on private land.  I guess what I am asking is, in the game managment plan where you hunt, is their a plan to cull those non shooter or mature buck with poor genetics?  I am not trying to sharp shoot the plan where you hunt, just looking to further my own knowledge about how game management plans are working in my home state.

Just for fun let's assume the regulations were changed and you could only harvest one antlered buck per year in Missouri instead of the three you can harvest now.

In our imaginary scenario all other regulations were left in place.

What impact do you think that would have on Missouri's deer population and the quality of bucks within that population?
